Child Safety Gate The Problem The Client is a mother with a toddler and yourng baby. She has psoriatic arthritis, experiencing extreme joint pain and decreased grip strength. She has considerable difficulty opening the two different baby gates at both the top and the bottom of the staircase. The Solution Two individual lever/ratchet handles that fitted easily and securely to the safety gate. They required slight pressure and leverage only to release the safety catch and open the gate.
